Arab. Muslim. Brummie. Hasan Al-Habib was born to Iraqis that moved to Birmingham after realising that Baghdad wasn’t dangerous enough.

The Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award 2023 Winner’s WIP debut hour is about his love for both cities - despite the hate they receive from entities like the US Government / Leicester.

Hasan also explores how the man he is today was shaped by racism, Iraqi sectarianism and a high metabolism.
