Birmingham’s only LGBTQIA+ Comedy Night is back, bringing you more queer comedians from Birmingham and beyond!

From new comedians to veteran acts, Queer As Joke finds performers from across the spectrum to delight their audiences.

Hosted by Cycki Brokat (Come Dine With Me Winner 2024) and with Ciara O’Connor (LGBTQ New Act Finalist 2024) these misfits will be ready, steady and raring to go with charming stories, absolute nonsense and a skittle bomb or three.

Not only will you have our hosts but also some of the top LGBTQ+ Performers from across the UK!

Sallyann Fellowes: "She’s been known to get lost in a toilet. Her humour is distinctive and unpredictable. Expect real life experiences that aren’t even remotely like real life and lots of weirdness. She won Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year in 2023 and was a finalist in Comedy Bloomers 2024."

Kate Sharp: "Kate Sharp is a comedian and writer based in London. She is a triple threat (lesbian, incredibly beautiful, owns a steamer). With her clever writing style (not biased, true), mixed with her conversational performance style, she is an exciting comedian on the UK comedy scene."

Marty Gleeson is an Irish comedian based in London. Winner of the LGBTQ+ New Comedian of the Year 2024 her offbeat, disarming and whimsical performance style also secured her a spot in this year’s Pleasance Comedy Reserve at the Edinburgh Fringe 2024.
